Louise Baranowski

Owner/Stylist

Twenty-three years of international experience has earned Louise Baranowski an accomplished reputation as one of San Francisco’s top stylists. In 1986 Allure magazine named her top stylist in their article on San Francisco salons.

Educated at the London College of Fashion, Louise worked as an assistant at Harrods Hair and Beauty Salon in Knightsbridge. After her 1982 graduation, she launched her career at London’s Daniel Galvin Salon, where she established strong clientele, developed a training program, and directed assistants and colleagues towards a contemporary approach to precision cutting.

After relocating to Los Angeles, CA, Louise landed a position as Senior Artistic Director and Educator at John Paul Hair Design. Her career path led her to San Francisco’s 77 Maiden Lane and later to a top creative salon called Architects & Heroes.

In 1994 Louise entered into a partnership with Skip Cathey and Tracey McAllister. Together they created Coyboys & Angels. Within her business and beyond, Louise is recognized as one of San Francisco’s most esteemed stylists and the salon is certainly a spectacular example of her success.
